Upon.You Label Night at Panorama Bar on 23rd of October!
Our label nights at Panorama Bar are always memorable experiences – provided that we don’t forget absolutely everything that happened – but this edition is especially noteworthy in that it celebrates the release of our second label CD compilation, Upon You Diary № 2, curted by Marcus Meinhardt.
To mark the occasion, we’ve invited a special guest DJ, Marco Carola, who will spread his set over a full five hours. Most techno fans don’t need any introduction to Mr. Carola, but for the unrefined, let’s see, how to make a 15+ year story short? Well, he’s one of Italy’s top techno DJ/producers, constantly playing at the world’s best clubs, having crafted mix CDs for Fabric and Cocoon, and most recently, a studio album for M-nus released earlier this year. We’re longtime fans and became more closely acquainted when he was a big supporter of Gunnar Stiller’s Cubicle EP which we released a couple years back. Needless to say, we’re thrilled to have him join our team!
Speaking of Stiller, he will also be present and in particularly good spirits, having just released a brand new Upon You 12” EP titled South of the Border. He’ll be playing a back-to-back set with our team member Fabiano. And of course, being responsible for our collective musical statement Diary № 2, Marcus Meinhardt will also be there, showing us his impeccable selection and mixing skills behind the decks. Rounding out the lineup is the ever dependable label head and DJ/producer Marco Resmann. See you on the dancefloor!
