Marco Resmann has done it. The studio computer is purring again like a satisfied kitten and those dark technical storm clouds have passed by. To prove that a streak of technical bad luck which he has just gone through can sometimes enhance creativity he has come up with this little gem of a new single „Drop Outz“. On A1 we have „Mal Pas“ (transl: difficult road) which is an ode to the suffering he went through with his computer. But don’t worry, its just a name, the track itself is as light and sweet as the stuff that we love from Marco. B1 is also little beauty, no dark clouds to be found here either, and B2, a cracker called „What’s Crackin' ?“ is the ultimate proof to anyone that the sun always shines at Upon You. Passion has always been one of Marcus Meinhardt´s favourite subjects. He has managed to secure the singer Fabian Reichelt for his latest release on Upon You, Fabian has intertwined the theme of Eros and Thanatos delicately within the beats. Fabian is known for his collaboration with Marek Hemmann, who recently produced his album with him. „Better Not“ is a typical Meinhardt styled club track that has been sweetened by Fabian’s voice giving it a certain pop-appeal and funkyness that is sure to get the hearts pumping faster on the dancefloors. His producer partner Andreas Henneberg adds his more cantankerous style to this track with his The Glitz Remix on the flipside firing the whole thing up with some strategically placed strings.
