Gunnar Stiller has always been known for producing dance floor “DESTROYERS”, even if “Far from Okay” sounds a bit like a floor wax accident there’s no need for the timid raver soul to get worried about slipping and falling. Soft accords sedate the mind, the bass pumps in the adrenaline and a voice softly whispers that everything is going to be just fine… all you need to do is dance. When the Janitor Loko mops over the UY 038 floor with his remix you can even walk over it on the highest of high heels. It does in fact, get a bit rougher when the lights go out on “some kind of weird” and the smoke machine goes starts pumping. That’s when its “black piste” time and that’s no place for Heidi Klum or techno beginners… but who wants to be a model anyway, right?
“We are like rain” is Martin Patino's third co-operation with FLASH and the result is an amazing deephouse composition with a very special atmosphere. Berlin based “The Cheapers” honored him with a remix for last summers hit “La Serena”.
On the 6th of November 2010 the climax of the Berlin Music Days – FLY BerMuDa – will take place on one of Berlin's biggest event stages: Flughafen Tempelhof. A location fit to hold the Crème de la Crème of the electronic music scenes finest. Besides techno luminaries such as Richie Hawtin, Thomas Fehlmann and Loco Dice, our favourite never-do-wells The Cheapers attend the dj booth.

Finally our baby Diary No.1 is out now on 2xCD and download! Upon You Diary No. 1 has been compiled by Marco Resmann and is split into two parts: the first features 13 new, exclusive tracks from the label’s roster including The Cheapers, Re-UP, ONNO and Mathias Mesteño. The second part, showcasing Resmann’s dynamic DJ ability, is meticulously stitched together using elements of 25 tracks from Upon You’s back catalog, including contributions by Holger Zilske, Catz ‘n Dogz, Mathias Kaden, Luna City Express and many other respected names.
Diary serves as both an up-to-date survey of Upon You in 2010 as well as a reflection on its origins, with the knowledge that there are many blank pages to be filled out as we push forward into the future of dance music.
One couldn’t be blamed for thinking that a like “Under The Water” shouldn’t be fumbled with, what credible force would even dare to mess with such treasure? Well, actually it’s two members of the original outfit plus a handful of their skillful friends, who’ve picked up this ever burning club torch. In other words, we’re at the very core of the song here.
The legendary track ‘Under the Water’ is now resurfacing in the shape of three brand new remixes – all initiated and nursed by original Brother Brown member Atle, now releasing under his new moniker: One Brother. And yes, Frankée’s soothing vocal still does what many a club songstress would kill to be able to do.
Finally, a new, true Doering. “I Would” captivates the listener with clean, maximum minimal beauty, in typical Doering style. The melodies swing gentle as a cradle, the beats take effect in a supporting role and the vocals, though sparsely deployed, complete the demand for inner harmony. The elements combine to create a languorous, warm feeling around the heart – a flawless hit. And what’s Marcus Meinhardt up to? He lays a hint of boom behind the track, plays with the curiosity created by delay, and garnishes the whole thing with a few more sound delights.
